The Twiga Foundation supports a small-scale children's project in Tanzania, where
underprivileged children are guided towards A better future.

Who are we:

The entire organization consists of Stichting Twiga, with its board members at the head. Below is the children's project "Sarakasi ya Vijana", A foundation we set up in Tanzania. The children's project is run by A coordinator appointed by the board. The coordinator leads the local staff in Mto wa MBu. In addition to this organization is A pool of ambassadors, many of whom have also been active as volunteers in Tanzania and therefore have knowledge about the project.

what makes us special:

The Twiga Foundation is a socially responsible organization that is committed to a small-scale non-profit education project in Mto wa Mbu Tanzania. Twiga aims to bring a positive change in the lives of vulnerable children from the Mto wa Mbu region. Twiga is active in a sustainable way to improve living conditions and self-reliance in Tanzania. Children who are unable to attend school due to poverty or social deprivation are helped by Twiga to receive education through our Sarakasi ya Vijana project. Twiga contributes to the development of children during their pre-school, primary and secondary school age. Our assistance consists of providing financial and personal support with the help of volunteers on site. Twiga selects the children for our project in collaboration with local religious institutions, schools, hospitals and the Youth and Welfare department of the Tanzanian government.
